Marianne, Adalina Tennant's middle name was Margaret and according to my records married John. Adalina's full-sister, Miranda J. (both were daughters of Thomas Hardister Tennant & Christine Hacker) married Andrew J. Pyeatt. My reference for Adalina's marriage is a Pyeatt family Bible. My reference for Miranda & Andrew's marriage is Deane Carter's Marriage records of Washington County, Arkansas: a 25-year record, published by the Washington Co. (Ark.) Historical Society in 1966. Adalina's half-sister, Henrietta "Nettie" Josephine (whose mother was Clarissa White) married Peter C. Pyeatt. The reference for Henrietta & Peter's marriage is Washington County Arkansas marriage books D-E-F-G-H-I. All marriages and their children were confirmed via the 1850 census records for Cane Hill, Washington County, Arkansas. Andrew & Miranda were still in Cane Hill in 1870, but moved on to Justice Precinct #6, Bell Co., Texas by 1880 & then were in Precinct #1, Jones Co., Texas in 1900. If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact me directly. Sharolynn J.
