I am looking for information about Lewis Peatt or his ancestors. I know that he was born in Westchester Co., NY in 1810 and came to McHenry County, IL in the 1840s. He married Margaret Whiston in 1852 in Racine, WI. I have found the names of several other Peatts in Westchester, but I have no idea if they are related to Lewis Peatt.
