Just discovered a little bit more on my 2nd grt grd mother. Elizabeth Hannah Piatt brn 1828 in Ohio, married Isaac Armfield, and they lived in Montfort WI. She went by the name of Hannah, and died in Portland OR. 1914. In the 1910 Minn. MN. census, she was living with her daughter Florence and her husband Frank Pierce Williams. Now this is where I found new info!!! It is recorded that she was born in Ohio and her parents were born in Virginia!!! SO the information I received from a distant cousin must be correct. She said she thought Hannah's father's name was Moses Piatt and her mother Jane Smith. She also said that she thought they were both from Virginia! Or I hope I am on the correct path. Now I did find on line some other Piatts and Smiths in Virginia, that made me think that these could just be a possibly that the two girls could be sisters marrying brothers? I know, I'am getting carried away. I just had to share this! So back to the census and just maybe I'll find the connection to the rest of your Piatts...Anita
