For David Eckert: I am speculating here, not checking records, but believe that BENJAMIN PIATT who was on the 1807 Dearborn Co IN voter list would have been BENJAMIN McCULLOUGH PIATT who married ELIZABETH BARNETT. This couple were parents of the two men who built the Piatt Castles. They are buried in the family cemetery near Castle Piatt Mac-A-Cheek in Logan Co OH. ROBERT PIATT of the same area could have been the ROBERT PIATT who married NANCY JONES. Subsequently ROBERT PIATT built a grand house at East Bend, Boone Co KY. Both ROBERT and NANCY are buried in the cemetery at Piatt's Landing in Boone Co KY. Robert and Nancy's house was destroyed a number of years ago by Cincinnati Gas and Electric for an electric generating plant. However, an architectural study of the house was made by the company and it, along with a history, was published as _Piatt's Landing East Bend._ Floor plans and elevations exist for anyone who would like to replicate the house.
