When I talked to living distant coz's that live in Beloit WI., they said they remember and knew my grt grd mother , Florence Armfield who's mother was Eliz. hannah PIATT, and that is how her whole family spelled their name. BUT, on her death cert. my grt grd father, Frank Pierce Williams filled in the death cert. and he spelled the name PYATT. He also was an educated man, so who was correct??I also am trying to connect E. hannah Piatt to her mother and father. She was born in Ohio, 1828. She died in Portland OR. 1914.
