I have not been a subscriber to the Piatt Digest for long, so may be confused. Originally I received the information from the Digest that Reyneir (Rene) Pyatt was born in (about) 1650 in Dauphine Province, France. "Family Search" says that he was born 1) in about 1650 in Piscataway, Middlesex, Mass. or 2) in/about 1651 in Middlesex, N.J. Any clarification??? Also - did he die in Middlesex Co., N.Y. or N.J.???? Jim, Rene/Reynier is my 8G grandfather. I have always used Dauphine, France as his birth place. I show he d. 16 Oct 1705, Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey. He m. 13 Dec 1677, Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey, Elizabeth SHEFFIELD, b. abt 1654, Flushing, Long Island, New York. Elizabeth d. aft 1705, Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ. I show they had 8 children, two of which Jane & Joan were twins. It is through Jane that I descend. What can I help you with? Joann in Wyoming.
