As a follow-up to my earlier query regarding Orphans Court records, I contacted them via snail mail with docket/file number, name, date, etc. Someone from their office called just a few days later to tell me the records have been retrieved and when my check is received the file will be sent to me. Here's the heads'-up: the charge is $8.00/page for photocopying. I was given no information on the contents of the file (I asked) so just blindly send in the money and keep your fingers crossed the informatiion will have some value.
