Jim, Several same-last-name entries for a single-family residence in a Phila. City Directory would indicate relatives living together. One person was head of household (employed or not) and the others were employed; possibly parent(s) and many employed offspring (& perhaps a few daughters-in-law). They could also be siblings but no parent, grandchildren, paternal cousins, paternal uncles (with or without employed spouses), unmarried paternal nieces (marriage would have changed their last names), paternal nephews, etc. -- Lani
