Hi, The Philadelphia library sent me a copy of a listing from the 1907, 1908 and 1909 city directories. I'm trying to figure out what a letter "h" means. An example: Thomas Mary h 1936 S. Hick Most all of the listings have this letter. It is not a middle initial, and other listings show a middle initial and it is capitalized. I've also seen a few listings with the letters "h r". Can someone tell me what these letters mean? I suspect "h" means "house" or "home". Thanks Rich --------------------------------- Be a better Globetrotter.
