    3. Good question. I have been hunting for the marriage location of my grandparents for many years. Only recently discovered it. Is a mystery to me since they were always Philadelphia people. She was age 18 and so may not have been at an "acceptable" age by her parents and so "eloped" to NJ.....just a guess. The website kindly provided by Larry B. gives all the info one needs to apply for a copy of a marriage license. No doubt my letter will be returned due to lack of including funds. I will reapply using the application available on the NJ website.
