I have a cousin and fiance living in Phila ,who in 1891 went to Camden NJ to get married, after the marriage they returned to Phila. where they lived until they died. To get a copy of the marriage cert. do I go to the county of Camden or to the State of NJ? And what address I would write to and cost. Would I need to send a copy of my drivers lic.? Thanks for any help. Bill Pallatt

Bureau of Vital Records, State of New Jersey, PO Box 370, Trenton, NJ 08625. Yes, you must include a copy of your photo ID drivers license. I am not sure, but I believe the fee is $28.00. I recently mailed for a copy of the marriage certificate for my grandparents...also married in Camden & resided in Philadelphia. I phoned to get the info I printed above. No mention was made of a fee so I am waiting a response asking for money.
