Hi Jacki- I'm confused. If Caroline Mathieu is Philbert and Mary Mathieu's dtr., how can she be Ernestine's? Ernestine would have been 60 when Caroline was born. Could Mary (Pearson)Mathieu have been a sister-in-law? (Making Caroline a niece?) I sent this same item to the list the day I found it on Jan. 2, 2007, and have since sent in her death record which lists her death as March 23, 1890. I do appreciate the effort you went through here. I believe I may have discovered a child of ERNESTINE's I was unaware of before today. CAROLINE MATHIEU, dau of PHILBERT & MARY (most likely PEARSON) MATHIEU. Just found PHILBERT's death notice in GenealogyBank. Will send that next to list. Again, my thanks.
