    3. The lookup of a marriage has a cost to it, so I assume you are asking for lookup resources? Here goes... 1. In the timeframe you give, there is an index that lists the persons applying for marriage licenses in Philadelphia. Once you obtain the license number, you can rent the film(s) with the marriage application. Ordering the films needed (it appears to be 3 total for what you seek) would cost less than ordering one record obtained in person at the Marriage Records Department ( http://secureprod.phila.gov/wills/marriagerecordinfo.aspx). This is a very reasonable cost, and these films are may be rented through your local family history center; to see which films you need, see www.familysearch.org . 2. Visit the Philadelphia City Archives if able to do so. The indexes and the films are there. There is a cost to use the reader-printer with copies costing 75 cents each, and each marriage record can have 3-5 pages on average. PCA will not make copies of these marriage records; they refer patrons to the Marriage Records Department. Other costs involved are those relating to time and travel, and the time at PCA is more than just planning a trip it; it is often waiting on others in order to have access to a machine, and one day it took me 3 hours before a printer became available, and it's not hard to believe that there are days when one might need to return due for that very reason. 3. Ordering via mail is an option, and though the site is named above, I'll put it here again for clarity's sake: http://secureprod.phila.gov/wills/marriagerecordinfo.aspx . I don't know if folks using this have had difficulties with records not being found, so I can't address that. The names you list are familiar to me, for I had been hired by someone to research one of those same records. Since this was a for-hire transaction, I will not take the liberties of sharing any further details or naming the individual, but I can assure you that the Rink-Derbyshire record can be found. Good luck in your search!
