Kay, I have a Charles J. Muschert (b. abt. 1835) who married a Catherine Megargee (b. abt. 1837). I believe they married about 1855. They had 12 children that I know about. Are you researching this Charles J. Muschert? Andy , I happen to have a fountain pen and mechanical set - I believe to be a Schaeffer with this name . The only thing that I can tell you about it is that when my husbands sister went into a nursing home many years ago . This was among some of her things. I know she often spoke of a Mrs. Muschert but that is all I know .
