January 12, 1865, Hiram AYRES - prominent in the school system and in the Presbyterian Church, and who held a government assignment, married 2ndly Elizabeth NEVILLE. Now Elizabeth has long been a quandry to me. There is data out there, specifying parents for her. And there is other data out there that would seem to point to her. Yet there is never anything that makes for a clear case as to her identity - nothing that I have yet found -- even in EGLE's books. I am hoping there is mention of this marriage in the Inquirer because of Hiram's background - and that it goes a bit beyond the normal amount, so I can lay a hand on this! Does anyone see this in the newspaper databases? Would you check for me? Thanks, Vince Summers
