    1. [Phly-Rts] BENJAMIN Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of David BENJAMIN & Son of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1890's or early 1900's with David likely in his 40's at the time it was taken and his son about 12 years old. In addition to his name and the location, someone has also written "Uncle" and "My Mother's Brother in Law" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited information I believe I was able to locate the family in census records as follows: 1910 census of Philadelphia, PA: David BENJAMIN, age 42, married 25 years, born Russia, parents born Russia, a Clothing Factory Tailor Fannie BENJAMIN, wife, age 41, married 25 years, 6 children/5 living, born England, parents born Russia Morris BENJAMIN, son, age 22, born England, a Leather Goods Salesman Harry BENJAMIN, son, age 20, born MA, a Mens Clothing Cutter Rose BENJAMIN, dau, age 15, born MA, a Waist Factory Operator Meyer BENJAMIN, son, age 11, born England 1920 census of Philadelphia, PA: Morris BENJAMIN, age 32, born England, parents born England, a Trunks Buyer Sarah BENJAMIN, wife, age 29, born PA, parents born Russia Ralph BENJAMIN, son, age 8, born PA Lenora BENJAMIN, dau, age 1, born PA Harry BENJAMIN, age 29, born MA, parents born England, a Cloth Fabic Cutter Bessie BENJAMIN, wife, age 28, to USA 1893, born Russia, parents born Russia Sydney BENJAMIN, son, age 5 years + 3 months, born PA Delia DENNENBURG, Mother-in-law, age 57, a widow, to USA 1893, born Russian, parents born Russia I'm hoping to locate someone from this BENJAMIN Family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family.
