About three years ago I sent for and received my uncle's WWII service record. He was a corporal in the Army. All the page edges were burned off or scorched but the body of each page was fine. In my opinion, it's worth sending in a request. You'll never know unless you try :) Kay in sunny CA ----Original Message Follows---- From: organizr01@aol.com Reply-To: philly-roots@rootsweb.com To: PHILLY-ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Phly-Rts] WWII records Date: Sun, 06 May 2007 11:49:00 -0400 Ancestry.com currently has WWII draft registration cards from 1942 and WWII army enlistment records 1938-45 on-line. Does anyone know if these are the only WWII records currently available at NARA or if there are other records there I can check? Thanks.
