    3. Fred H Foxhill, butcher h Virginia Rd N 69th St, John Foxhill, butcher Virginia Rd. N 69th St. This information is from the 1899 city directory. Fred lived at this address to 1910. So where is he in the 1900 census? I checked Ward 34 ED 893, as my great grandmother Sarah Crosland lived at 69th and Haverford. Can anyone help with the ward for Virginia RD N 69th st. 3. That address would definitely be Ward 34. It borders Montgomery County (City Avenue). I suspect it wasn't enumerated in 1900. If you look at the 1910 census almost all of those enumerated are Italian and married less than 10 years. The occupations tend to be farm/garden. Now I want to take a ride to the spot and see what is there! 69th and Haverford would be very close by. 3. District 841 Philadelphia city, Ward 34; Division 20 (pt. of) Bounded by: 69th, Landsdowne, Haverford, City Ave. Mary, this is what I get for 1910 census. Yes, indeed it is ward 34 in 1900 also. Someone else just replied but I haven't opened it yet. My great grandparent's are listed for 11 years at Virginia N. 69th st. 1899 directory to 1910 census, but he is not in the 1900 directory. In 1903/4/5 he was a buther at the 157 and 115 Fairmount Mkts. 3. This is new to me: the idea that some areas were not enumerated. Would that be by oversight? Mary Finley verizon <marmfin@verizon.net> wrote: That address would definitely be Ward 34.
