Hi Jane, I don't have an answer to your specific question but I have gone to the site of the Wharton St. ME Church in West Philadelphia to do some family research.? There are records that exist and the parish secretary was very helpful.? I don't know if they will do any research by mail but I know that I had success making an appointment and visiting the church.
