    3. I'm seeking the parents of Justice Cox, who married Elizabeth Paschall in 1795. He was reportedly born about 1775. 3. If you search Justice Cox and either Philadelphia or Pennsylvania on GoogleBooks you can find a History of Bucks County. This article is about the son of Justice and Elizabeth Cox and says he was born in Kingsessing in 1805. Also claims descent from Otto Ernst Cox of Swedish origins. There is a Phila will abstract for Robert Graham, grazier, of Kingsessing, 24 Mar 1779: Wife Elizabeth, other family listed - then wife's daughter Ann Lampler, wife's son Justice Cox, wife's sister Mary Lodg and her daughter Elizabeth Armstrong. One of the witnesses was Henry Paschall. Evidently Justice Cox's mother was Elizabeth ( ) (Cox) Graham. IF this is the right man. There is a cluster of Justices in Kingsessing with connections to MD. Use different combinations of names on Googlebooks and you will find a fair amount of information. If you haven't already, be sure to look at : http://www.phillygenweb.org/ http://www.usgwarchives.org/pa/philadelphia/ I would search wills and marriages in particular. Church records for Kingsessing should be very useful. Liane

    2. Arthur: I am assuming your Justice Cox/Coxe/Cock might be one of the descendants of the original Swedes who settled the Delaware Valley. If so, Dr. Peter Craig of Washington, DC, has done a great amount of work on the descendants of those families. You can find him by googling his name, or at the Swedish Colonial Society, etc....
