Interesting note about the 1940 census, they asked people about their residence of April 1, 1935! Talk about an added bonus for us! http://www.archives.gov/genealogy/census/1940/general-info.html Looks like it might be very helpful for those of us who all seeking elusive ancestors and trying to clear up those pesky family stories that turn out to be "mistruths".
