For new and intermediate researchers, Giving Up the Secrets of the Grave will shed light upon the unique information that can be gleaned from burial records; how to obtain vital records from the Commonwealth and religious institutions; the subject of why and when to exchange money for records; and the various online research resources that are available today. The program will also demonstrate how the information and symbolism found on cemetery grave markers can often serve as primary clues in the quest to uncover our past. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The program cost is $25 per person, and $20 for members and students. Advance registration is requested.
