Hi Sandy, Yes, Charles is a mystery, but thought I'd ask the group for help. How about all the Foxhill variations!!! That would scare any researcher off. I'll check the FTM, but do not believe I have anything on this Florence. Which is wierd. Old George, Gertrude's father, went to Hudson, NJ in 1897 and in 1907 married Lillian Hauck, age "17"!!! Gad, that's like going to bed with your grandfather. Anyway, the forth child of that marriage was a Florence. BTY, Old George was born in 1861!!!! The name Hugh for Gertrude's husband does not ring a bell. In the Fernwood plot are a big mix of surnames. Foxhill, Maguire and a few others. I contacted one of the descendants who was about 90 and asked why no stone. Said there were too many names! Anyway, he did not know of the Foxhill name. Now don't you think he would wonder who???? So, how are you doing? Things remaining calm at your house? Many thanks for looking. Jane PS: where did you find this Gertrude? In the LDS site? ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 28, 2009 11:11 PM Subject: Re: [Phly-Rts] looking for: Charles Foxhill-Phila., Pa. > Ive been looking for over two hours for a clue on Charles Foxhill and he > is a worse mystery than my William Lawson! > > Well I did find a daughter that died that belongs to Gertrude Maguire.? > Florence May Maguire died September 12, 1911 and is buried at Glenwood > Cemetery.?
