Hi Jo-Ann - Usually, but not always, the abbreviations you list below stand for the following: CR = center or corner grave in the plot N = North side of the plot from the center S = South side of the plot from the center You may also run into Cor which is usually the corner grave of the plot. The 10 could mean the 10th grave in the plot but that would depend on how many graves are contained within the plot. Of course these are just what I have been exposed to in my research and may not be totally accurate in every cemetery. Hope this helps! This is where my gr gr grandparents are buried. It states that my gr gr grandfather, Patrick H. Broderick, is the lot owner. It is Section 4, Range 3, Lot 48. After Patrick's name is 04-3-48 CR10.
