    3. http://www.antiquusmorbus.com/English/EnglishP.htm I found "Phrenitis". From: "Vincent E. Summers" <[email protected]> Subject: [Phly-Rts] Phrenetic Fever To: [email protected] I think, I do believe, I have found my Samuel CHILDS listed as Samuel CHILD, died November 7, 1806, buried Christ Church. Death: Phrenetic Fever.  Any idea what that is?  I get an inkling that it might have something to do with a cerebral hemmorhage?  or a stroke? Vince

    3. So the brain is involved. Meningitis is a real possibility, or at least some sort of frenetic inflammatory fever. The man - Captain Samuel Childs - who had it seems to have been a young man, in his 20's. He traveled overseas regularly. He was the father of Chief Coiner George Killinger Childs. Thanks, Terry.
