    3. Hi Dorothy: We have been searching for my husbands ancestors by the name of Scotts. They were Nicholas and Jane Scott born in the 1770's they had a son William Scott born 12/1797. He had Catherine, Elizabeth Jane, James and a son William James Scott born 1845 in Ireland. They came to America NY in 1855. He married a Eliza or Elizabeth Powell 2/4/1874 in Jersey City NJ. . He died in NJ 9/3/1893 Newark, NJ William James Scott and Eliza Ppowell, had John Wesley Scott married Mabel Lorina MOrris 6/6/1882 in Newark, NJ, Would love to know where in Ireland his ancestors came from.
