This site has Philadelphia B's, M's and D's, original indexes and registers, from 1860-1903. It also has Naturalization records and deeds. While it is the most difficult site to use (nothing is indexed - you go page by page through indexes and registers), I have ever encountered, it beats the heck outta going on site to see the same hard copies in Philadelphia. Annual subscription is $100.00, a real bargain for me when you consider that I have downloaded almost 100 original documents from it. _Philadelphia Historical Land Records and Vitals Site_ (http://phila-records.com/historic-records/web/splash.jsp) Rick Franzen > Are there any major online indexes of Philadelpha births between > 1887-1897, marriages 1888-1892, 1920-1930, deaths 1910-1940? Thanks so much for that. I will share it with my Illinois cousin as an alternative to the on site research he was considering. It's too bad they do not have 3 or 6 month options for folks with very little Philadelphia research to do. Maybe I'll write them about that.
