Hello Ray, Thanks for the contact. I'm afraid a connection is doubtfull. Although Rose Hammill's parents were both of Irish extraction (1900 Census), Rose herself was born in Pensylvania in abt 1877 - so her parents were in America by the time of her birth. Your Hammills could always be another branch of the family emigrating to America years later - but very difficult to prove. We'd need to find out where in Ireland Rose Hammill's parents originated. BTW we lived in County Antrim ourselves for three years in the '60s - A lovely County. Best wishes, Tony.
