    3. Sue - Thanks for posting Arlington's website and pointing out their museum. My paternal grandparents are buried there and I could cry when I compare it to Mt. Moriah where all of their forebears are buried! They are a very pleasant group of people with whom to work. Their website is: www.arlingtoncemetery.us. You could also call: 610-259-5800. For a real treat (but you need to shcedule a visit) you should see their Museum of Mourning Art in their main building, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. I'm sure they will be happy to assist you. Sue Facciolli

    3. Linda - My family story is quite similar. My grandmother died during the final days of the Influenza Pandemic of 1918-1919, just three days after giving birth to my mother's baby sister. My grandmother was buried, with her parents and sister in the Yeadon section of Mount Moriah Cemetery. Because my mother was only four years old when her mother died, she didn't know the location. The family picnicked there for a while until the stepmother arrived on the scene. When it came time for my Grandfather and his second wife's burial, they selected Arlington Cemetery. I'm with the Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery, Inc. Mostly, I'm doing this is for my mother's mother and the closure I felt when I found my grandmother's grave. Others in the group are doing it for similar reasons. We hope to bring honor and dignity back to all those resting in Mount Moriah. - Sue ________________________________ From: Linda Foh <lindafoh@epix.net> To: philly-roots@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, January 8, 2012 2:55 PM Subject: Re: [Phly-Rts] question re Arlington Cemetery Sue - Thanks for posting Arlington's website and pointing out their museum.
