Did you notice the lovely Tiffany stained glass windows at St. Stephen's when you were there? Each has a plaque with the donor's name and "In Memory of" - another source of somebody's family history. When I got there I noticed that no visible cemetery was in site. Although my research said she is buried there. So I entered the church and spoke with a minister who was present at the time. I asked if he knew of any burials that were located here at the church. He took me to a hallway inside the church and I looked down and there I was standing on my ancestors plague. The reason for me putting this on the list is that there is a big plaque on the wall that states the following. Beneath the church to the left are the burial vaults and graves of the following.
This is so interesting! Linda did you see anything of a William Grant from the low 1700's to the middle 1700's. Trying to find them for 40 years.
