My 2nd great grandmother was a Margaret Jane Hamilton born about 1840 in N. Ireland. She married John Baird born about the same time in N Ireland. I don't know her parents or siblings but I am looking into possible relatives Hans and Joseph Hamilton both born in Ireland 1807 and 1811, sons of William and Elizabeth Hamilton who were born about 1775-1780 in Ireland. They were livery stable and dray owners and drivers and lived on South 4th St in Philadelphia. Anything familiar? Hi, Many thanks for looking. I guess she went by Rebecca and Deborah. The group found in 1850 is apparently not them. Tomorrow I will back track on Deborah and Wm. I do believe we did the Margaret Jane Hamilton before. Nothing in your note is familiar. My Margaret would have been born in Pa. Lots of Andrew's.
