CROSLAND death notice. The paper in GenealogyBank is very hard to read, wondering if someone would give it a try to find this notice in there. Parents were Enos and Sarah Crosland. Jane, Employees at Fernwood Cemetery are very nice. A phone call to them should give you answers. 610-623-0333 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kate" <chrismomxyz@yahoo.com> To: <philly-roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 17, 2012 11:29 AM Subject: Re: [Phly-Rts] GenBank assistance 1872 There was a death notice for him on May 15, 1895, though, incidcates he was buried at Fernwood. Mary, Sorry, but Fernwood has no data on William's death, only that he was re-interred from another site with two brothers, April 1885. I am trying to find where he and Charles were first buried. Brother James died in April 1885 and the three were buried in Fernwood. But thanks for the suggestion. Hanover Cemetery, located at Thompson St. and Columbia Ave, had their interments removed to Forrest Hills and Fernwood Cemeteries in 1922. I don't know if a church is still there or what takes up the grounds that once were Hanover Cemetery.
