I recently found a burial card for a Francis P.Corrigan and dob 7/25/91, dod was 8/16/41. He left home in 1910 and was never heard from since. This card states that he served from 1917 to 1919 in the Army, Co.A 301 at Batt Tank Cps Private # 01776329. He is buried at St. Mark's Bristol Bucks county. The info on the card was given by Philadelphia County Registry, he died in Philly Co. I have sent for his service record and Draft card registration, hoping to get the name of his next of kin. My question is, would his death cert. have his next of kin on it?. Would the death cert have a address of the place he died? Any help would be appreciated. George Corrigan Buffalo, NY.
George, His death certificate would have that information if the informant at the time of death knew the answers. I assume you have not been able to locate him in any of the censuses?
