I'm personally wondering if it wasn't John George's son, Harry J. Harry J. was born 1882/1883 and so the timing would be within reason. However, Harry is listed as a welder in 1910, whereas JG is listed as a huckster. Surely the name DOERR was not remarkably common in those days? the article gives his middle initial as H. no age listed. He had left his ;team' in front of commission houses on Delaware on the previous Saturday and checked into the Montgomery House. the article indicates his issue was 'nervousness', and he was willing to return to Philadelphia on the following day. I tried the tutorial and found election districts easily since I knew addresses and also 1930 election districts. It asks you to name the street and the cross streets on each side which is easy for city dwellers. Don't know how well it works for more rural counties. It's nice to do this ahead of C-Day!
