Hi again... I am pursuing BACHMAN(N)s. Bernhardt G. or H. BACHMAN(N) and his mom, Anna Laura A Bachmann BLUM. Also the sister Rose, and 5 siblings who died - perhaps all in the 1800's. Anna or Laura was born Germany. Any info? Vince

I've "rescued" an old photograph identified only as "Aunt Sallie" which was taken at the H. C. Phillips Studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The photograph is dated July 31 1886 with Sallie likely in her 30's or 40's at the time. Sallie includes the following message on the back of the photograph, "For my little friend Sallie DONALDSON with love from, Aunt Sallie". Based on limited research I was able to locate a possible match to Sallie DONALDSON in the 1880 census of Philadelphia, PA: John DONALDSON, age 22, a Carpenter, born PA, parents born PA Sallie DONALDSON, wife, age 21, at Home, born PA, parents born PA I am hoping that this is a clue to who she is so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to her family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
