Also nearby are Our Mother of Consolation in Chestnut Hill (zip 19118) and Seven Dolors in Wyndmoor, just outside the city in Montgomery County. That area of the city is fine to walk around in.....     2. Most likely Our Mother of Consolation on E. Chestnut Hill Ave. Another possibility would be Holy Cross on E. Mt. Airy Ave. I have no idea if they are genealogically friendly. The east side of Moreland Ave. is a mix of houses and some commercial properties. The west side is houses-some very large.     2. Hi Kate- I found Edith's father's obit in the Phila. Inquirer. He is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Try there. Was Emma the sister who wrote the journal? Sister Mary named a daughter Edith. If you need them, I have 1900, 1910, 1920 & 1930 census records for some of this family.
