    3. I've never known markers to go with bodies from any cemetery. I saw the bodies removed from Belvue in 1951 and they were dug up with backhoes and dumped into trucks. The markers were not with the bodies. It is possible that the bodies in Odd Fellows were removed individually but I doubt it. All were moved to Lawnview Cemetery which is in Rockledge, Montgomery Co., PA on May 23, 1951. 1. [Phly-Rts] Posting an effective query to the list -- ADMIN
    2. To all- When you are posting a query or asking for a lookup, please include as much data for the person about whom you need information. Also, tell us the relevancy to the Philadelphia list. Try to include full names, spouses names where known (or specify not known if you don't know) and locations. Also, include dates where possible. If you don't know exact dates give some sort of clue for our lookup volunteers to go by. For instance, if you don't know a year of birth for your ancestor but do know when he married or an age listed on a census or other record -- include that info. The results and answers you get to your queries will largely depend upon the information you supply when posting. Thanks and best of luck to all in their searches. 3. Vince, all is well out here in the wild west. The only other spelling that might have been used Is DONOCHIE, His brother Hugh that lived in Philly used that spelling. There was also a brother Thomas living in Philly, can't remember off hand what spelling he used. There were several other spellings in Scotland, but when they came to the states they seemed to have settled on those two spellings. 2. Is this burial ground still here? On Google Map, satelite view, I see a cemetery on east side of 5th st., above Spruce & Manning. NNNNoooo>, I don't want to be a customer. LOL Just want to maybe put this on my list of places to visit this summer when I come to downtown Philly. Is this the Free Quaker Graveyard where Griffith Levering was interred in 1788?
