    2. P Valverde
    3. Hi Everyone, Would some kind soul who has access to genealogybank do a lookup for me and email me the obit and/or story. I'm not sure of the date of death of this person, perhaps early 90's. Pauline Packer (nee Morrow) died in a house fire from smoking in bed. I am looking for the obit and the seperate story that appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily news. Her son was Charles Packer and her husband was Charles Packer Sr. all from Philadelphia I believe. Thank you so very much. I checked the SS Death Index but can't seem to find this name with something near the early 90's. Patti

    3. You can cutomize the look of your Ancestry homepage by clicking the link on the right, just under the main bar that goes across the page (can't remember what it's called just now).  The link says "Customize your homepage".  You can move your sections up and down by using the arrows within each box. Roughly, it was (is) between Cottman Ave. and a line just South of Red Lion Road and the Montgomery County line and the Delaware River in Northeast Philadelphia. The date of burial at Arlington is the same for all since they were reinterred on the same date. They did not have the original dates of burial or death. Fernwood provided that information. Kelly Listers, My great grandfather, John E. Kelly, was born, lived & died in Philadelphia. I'd really like to go further back with his family but am having difficulty since he had such a common name. He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery on Oct 01, 1921. I assume he died the latter part of Sept. He lived at 2360 N. Hope St and was a carpet weaver. His wife Jennie's parents' were Thomas & Sarah Henderson. Thomas was born in Scotland & Sarah in Ireland. John & Jennie's children - Mary, John, Katherine, Ella,& Charles. Does this family link with yours? Does anyone have easy access to old Philadelphia newspapers to look up John s date of death? I'd need that to get his death certificate for clues to his parents. Thank you.
