First, I quoted the paragraph from a book that was published in early 1900 that was called The History of Washington County, Maryland. It mentioned George Phillips & his son Christopher, and then launched into John Allen Phillips, who moved from Virginia to Maryland. So, I was trying to see if anyone out there has any connection. Second, my John Allen Phillips was born in 1826 and was married to Wilhelmina Ann Redman. Third, I received a response that my John Allen Phillips was the son of Presley Phillips (who was born in South Carolina) and Nancy Turner Guthrie. Could you give me the information on your CD's that you purchased regarding the Phillips family? Also, who are your Phillips from Maryland? Thanks.
