My Phillips ancestors were Russian jews who first went to England before coming to the US in 1883. I have an idea that they changed their names when they got to England... Does anyone know what the Russian name might have been nor do I know what area of England they may have settled. I cannot find my family in England although my grandfather & his siblings were all born there 1850s til 1881. Thanks, Evelyn
