It is not a biography, but is a genealogy of her ancestry of her mother's family. Much of the information is available on a family tree submitted to Ancestry.com by Jesse Pickrum, who has done a great deal of work on these families also. He has added much of the text of "Briefly Biographical - A Genealogy of the Palmer Family" by Bertha Hornung (Bertha Irene Phillips, b. 1883), written about 1954, to his pages for John Palmer and John Palmer, Jr. (b. 1730). As John Palmer is a difficult name to search for, I suggest you search for Elizabeth Cootrick (b. 1730), the wife of John Palmer Jr. That search should bring up two trees, one submitted by Judy Bowman Rhodes and the other submitted by Jesse H. Pickrum. On his pages for John Palmer and John Palmer, Jr. is where you can read the excerpt. Also search for his pages on William Fleet Palmer (b. 1862, d. 1942), Benjamin Franklin Palmer (b. 1847, d. 1898), John Mason Palmer (b. 1883, d. 1978), and James William (or William James) Ghent (b. 1866, d. 1942), all members of this extended family who have especially interesting notes.
