I found some of my family on his website about 1 year ago and sent him several e-mails and did some post-ems but never got any answers. The information he had was incorrect. I just went back to his site and found that some of the information has been changed. Unfortunately it is worse than before. My gr gr grandfather was born abt. 1791, not sure where but believe he was English. He fought in the War of 1812. He was John Phillips. He married Catherine Smith. Again I don't know where she was from. I believe she was from the Prince Edward Co. area of Ontario. He has Catherine married twice: 1/ John Phillips born 1787 2/ John Phillips born 1791 1st marriage 1818 Hallowell 2nd marriage 1821 Hallowell I have the marriage certificate in my possession and they were married 1 May 1821 in Hallowell, the White Chapel by Stephen Conger, J.P. I believe something should be done about this man. He should be discredited. I am going to write the Ontario OGS regarding him. Thanks again for the warning. Carol
