    3. I guess this adds new meaning to Ripley's Believe It of Not (grin) When I started my genealogy 25 yrs ago you had to do it the old fashion way........ Now you can get your mouth swabbed and see if the DNA matches someone dead for 400 yrs...... Or you can go to these wonderful sites that someone who has never been in a courthouse except to get his or her drivers license........but they have set all day at their computers going from place to place gathering information that is probably for the most part as "iffy" as his or hers will be because few sites ..........do just that "site the proof for their information" I am not saying that John Phillips Buczek's site is like that I have never seen it. But it really makes me sick at what some people are doing to genealogy and the spreading of false information. So, people if you want to be sure that your gggg grandparents are yours you had better check, check, check or your gggg grandparents may belong to someone else.
