My Phillips ancestors (grandparents)came to the US from England in 1883. I cannot find them on the census of England of 1881 but they were there somewhere. My grandfather & his siblings were all born in England. Their father, Aaron Phillips was born in Russia. Does anyone know how Phillips might have been spelled in Russian? Perhaps they had changed the spelling after arriving in England. Thanks, Evelyn
