I am related to the Phillips family through my father. I am trying to find a common connection. Have you come across Abraham Phillips 1755-1836 of Rockingham Co. NC or his son Charles? Abrahams wife was Cynthia Lanier who died in Russell Co. Al where some of her children had moved. I believe all three families are also related to the Bright or Brite family of Missouri.
