Susan was probably born in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas and they lived there as well as Fayette County after their marriage. William operated a saw and flour mill in the area, but I don't know the exact location. He sold the mill and the family moved to Otero County, New Mexico where he purchased a portable mill that he moved to wherever the job was. I would like any information regarding the family or the mill, especially where it might have been located in Texas. I don't know if he advertised in the local newspapers or how well known his operation was. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
