VA. Most of the following information from a family member is undocumented: Fielding Phillips married Nancy Linton on 17 Feb 1790 in Fauquier Co. Va. (This is documented in "Fauquier Families, 1759-1799"). Fielding Phillips' father was Henry Phillips. Nancy Linton's parents were George and Nancy Linton. The children of Fielding Phillips and Nancy Linton were: Elizabeth b. 19 Dec 1790 m. Luthor Pryor (son of John Pryor and Margaret Garvin) William b. 15 June 1792 m. Sarah (or Nancy) Pryor) George b. 15 Jan 1794 m. Mary Mahala Gregg and Mahala Eweres Nelson b. 17 June 1796 m. Elizabeth Boyd Barnett b. 4 April 1798 m. Rhoda Ward Sarah b. 1800 m. Joel Millison Alcinda b. 1803 m. Enoch Burns Emily b. 20 June 1808 m. Samuel Russell Evaline b. 1810 m. Jesse Boyd Nancy m. William Russell Fielding Jr. b. 13 April 1813 m. Susan Sherwood Maria Ann b. 1816 m. Jonas Groves George, Nelson, and Barnett Phillips subsequently moved to Belmont Co. Ohio. Fielding Phillips also may have died in Belmont Co. Ohio Thank you. Ron Bloch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I searched the 1840 Census for Belmont Co., Ohio and found the following: Barnet Phillips Goshen Twsp, Belmont, Ohio age 40-50 George Philips Goshen Twsp, Belmont, Ohio age 40-50 John Philips Goshen Twsp, Belmont, Ohio age 20-30 Nelson Philips Goshen Twsp, Belmont, Ohio age 40-50 Nelson Philips, Jr. Goshen Twsp, Belmont, Ohio age 20-30 William Philips Goshen Twsp, Belmont, Ohio age 40-50 It looks like the four brothers and two sons all in the same township. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I found Fielding Phillips in the 1830 Census for Belmont Co., Ohio.
