Thanks so much to Herb Savage (herb@perftech.com), who responded personally and immediately to my e-mail asking about my John and Elizabeth Phillips ancestors in Maine and/or Quebec and their descendants. "Just for fun," he said, he decided to see how many of my Phillipses he could find in the 1880 census, on the LDS Family Search site. He found a multitude! Some of them I knew about, some not. I am deeply grateful!! And Herb is a fellow San Antonian! We have now met by phone. (His Phillipses are not mine, alas). What a service the Phillips list and Family Search can provide!
