Here is better info: On the Latter Day Saints site, find the 1880 census: http://www.familysearch.org/ Melvina is age 25 born in GA. The Head of Household in this printed version is "Felman" PHILLIPS, but everything else is pretty close to accurate. One family member (who personally knew the older sons, Sherman and George and the daughter) says the daughter is Delphia, not "Belfry." If someone has access to that census, would appreciate confirmation that the initial letter is Z for him. The probability is very high, in my opinion, that this is Zillman, or Zilman PHILLIPS. At any rate this is "Turk." This same census, interestingly, lists his father's birthplace as TURKEY.
