In approximately 1856, Benjamin moved from Bedford Co., TN to Pope Co., AR. The 1870 Census recorded him living in the Dover Township, Pope Co., AR. The 1880 Census recorded him living in the household of Michael H. Nease, Webster Co., MO. Children born were: Joshua H., Candis H., Solomon, Elizabeth Jane, Herod F., and Margaret Phillips.
